Возможное солевое озеро или ледяная поверхность, покрытая водой.
Большая выдержка.
Линия в воздухе - дрон с мощным фонариком, который включается дистанционно.
Линии на воде - скорее всего фотошоп.

Про дрон - хорошая мысль. Даже не подумал в эту сторону )))
Видел подобные снимки в горах , где светом прорисованы линии на большой высоте. Видимо действительно дрон

Есть же ближайшие НЛО, или просто кисточкой по слою.

это да, однако фото выше явно снималось одной камерой.
чем-то похожим можно забесплатно побаловаться на фоне оживленной улицы ночью, огни машин будут оставлять треки, а модель проработается за пару секунд выдержки.
правда с фоном будет беда

Хоть и говорил мне профессор художки, что в каждом произведении должен присутствовать элемент халтуры - но не до такой же степени!

Шоп - это хорошо, но без подсветки такое , как я думаю, не получится, разве что нарисовать всё на пустом месте руками.

Либо длинная выдержка и пыха в мануале ручками несколько раз, главное быстро бегать дабы успеть)))
Я так лет 8 назад пробовал ночью, интересно получалось.

Учитывая, что есть полосы света на 2700 от обычных ламп накапливания - эти около 5000... холодный свет.

Вряд ли сюда тащили большие софт-боксы или зонты для смягчения теневых переходов.
Я просто видел бэкстейдж какой-то из съемок (правда с девками) где было штук 5-7 пых с софт-боксами (или зонтами) на стойках, уже не помню точно.

Про интересные световые эффекты можно посмотреть и почитать в поиске по ключевому слову Freezlight - это когда свет "замораживают" на длинной выдержке. В первом случае - дрон (не важно какой) с фонариком, во втором - есть специальные длинные фонари... Если вдруг кому интересно...

Так со статичными сценами, тем более ночью, гораздо проще даже одному - поставил на штатив, режим интервальная съемка допустим, и ходи с фонариком подсвечивай сначала одно, потом другое (световая кисть). Затем из нескольких кадров выбрал и наложил, себя разумеется выпилить, если где в кадр влез сам или тень, следы.

Есть такое течение в фотографии с постановочным живописным светом, например Dan Busta или Gregory Crewdson.
Для себя называю "Целое кино одним кадром". На шармака такое не прокатит, школа и бюджет нужны. Иначе получится как у этого Мельника.
Для создания такой фотографии рисуется схема постановки света:
